Mr Padraig Kenny has been appointed chief operating officer of Europlus Research and Management at Dublin's IFSC.

Europlus Research and Management which has been established by Credito Italiano and its affiliate Rolo Banca is the largest equity research and asset management operation to locate in the IFSC to date.

Waterford Crystal has named Mr Eugene Crehan as its new manager for international markets outside the USA. Formerly with Grand Metropolitan, Mr Crehan has worked as marketing manager of the Baileys Irish Cream brand.

Previously he held a senior marketing position with a Dubai-based trading company.

AIB's Head of corporate banking, Mr Donal Chambers, is retiring from the post. The corporate division, which is part of AIB capital markets, handles a portfolio of more than £2 billion.

Prior to becoming head of corporate banking, he was managing director of AIB Finance and Leasing. Mr Chambers plans to continue his business interests in the private sector.

The Automobile Association (AA) has appointed Ms Lorraine Keane as manager of its AA Roadwatch operation. The service provides traffic news for RTE Radio, Today FM and other stations. Ms Keane will work on areas like car technology and telematics.

The tour operator, Panorama Holiday Group, has appointed Mr Niall McDonnell as chief executive. He was previously sales manager with the company and has worked in the past with Thomson and JWT Holidays. He has spent 12 years in the travel business.

The Marketing Institute of Ireland has named Mr Paul O'Kelly as the chairman of its new consultants' register. The register is the institute's body of approved consultants.

Rescon IT Resourcers has appointed Ms Patricia Dardis as recruitment specialist in the technical support area.
