All change at Bank of Ireland's public affairs office, the Margin hears

All change at Bank of Ireland's public affairs office, the Margin hears. After eight years attending to the needs of financial hacks, public affairs manager Ms Eilis O'Brien is moving on and taking up a new job as head of the Food Safety Authority's public affairs division.

The Margin has no doubt that she will be able to make a seamless transition from writing Bank of Ireland annual reports and press releases on credit card interest rates to press releases on the dangers of E.coli, brucellosis and salmonella.
