Staff at the US brokerage Merrill Lynch have contributed $30,000 (£23,114) towards the costs of a new CD to raise money for the Omagh Fund. Across The Bridge of Hope features The Corrs, US and Van Morrison and will go on sale in the US and Canada this week. It is already on sale in Europe and is expected to raise up to £580,000 for the fund.

All monies will go towards those injured and the families of the 29 people who died in the explosion. The CD will contain a 1800 telephone number to receive donations from the public.
