McCreevy expands empire into publishing

Charlie McCreevy has been in unusually ebullient form this week, even by his extrovert standards.

Still, given the tortuous nature of his relations with many in the Irish media, he wasn't about to rely on it for favourable reporting. Instead, he set up his own in-house publishing operation to produce Budget 2000, an information update on the effect of tax changes in the Budget which kick in this week.
