A raft of leading Irish companies publish interim figures this week including CRH (tomorrow), Irish Life& Permanent, Glanbia, Kingspan and Independent News & Media (Wednesday).

On the economic front, the key data will be US employment figures on Friday. Analysts are looking for any sign that consumer demand - the one thing to sustain the US in the current downturn - is heading for a slowdown.
