A British High Court judge has halted the prosecution of Mr Kevin Maxwell, son of late media tycoon Robert Maxwell, ruling that he should not have to face a second fraud trial.

Mr Maxwell, who was already acquitted by an Old Bailey jury in January after a seventh month trial, is now finally cleared of all charges connected with the collapse of his disgraced father's business empire. Page 2
