Bathroom products manufacturer, Qualceram, has completed its feasibility study on the possibility of establishing a bathroom furniture manufacturing plant.

"The results are looking very optimistic. We will be looking closely at it in the coming weeks," chief executive, Mr John O'Loughlin said. He was speaking after the company's first annual meeting in Dublin yesterday.

He said Qualceram's strategy was to move into manufacturing all of the products inside the bathroom door.

Mr O'Loughlin said current trading was well ahead of last year's performance and was also ahead of budget.Qualceram's Dublin depot, which opened at the end of March, was now fully operational, he said. The company has a good infrastructure in Ireland and will focus attention on the British market, the area of greatest potential for Qualceram in the long term.
