IT'S all change at that most venerable of organisations, the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Leo O'Donnell, chairman and former managing director of Jacobs, has taken over as president from Niall Deasy of Coopers & Lybrand. O'Donnell will now team up with former top civil servant, Sean Dorgan, who joined as full-time chief executive late last year.
With 4,000 of its 10,000 members working in industry, the institute spreads its presidency around. Previous industry incumbents were Gerry Dempsey and Eugene Green.
