Tipperary-based company, Glenpatrick Spring Water, will start production on a new £600,000 (€761,000) contract to supply Tesco Ireland with own-brand mixers later today.
Glenpatrick spring water will supply all of Tesco's 75 Irish stores bringing the value of its total business with Tesco Ireland to more than £1.5 million per year. Two years ago this figure was only £100,000.
The range of mixers will include tonic water, soda water, ginger ale, slimline tonic, tonic with lime, tonic with lemon and bitter lemon. These will be available in Tesco stores from the beginning of September 2000.
