With the Catholic church now in the middle of its "Who are the Men in Black" ad campaign to attract new vocations to the priesthood, The Margin was intrigued to note a recent high-flying convert to the religious life. It seems that Jim O'Donnell, US boss of HSBC James Capel in London, has quit his £1 milliona-year job to join the priesthood back home. This career move means that his salary falls from £1 million to around £5,000!
