FDA clearance for Trinity Biotech

Trinity Biotech, the Dublin-based diagnostic test maker, has received clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration to market its rotavirus test kit. The test can detect the presence of the the highly contagious virus in stool samples within several hours. It mainly affects children. Trinity has now negotiated a distribution agreement with Carter Wallace's Wampole Laboratories division.
