Exploration firm Connemara Mining has reported the discovery of three mineralised zones in the course of its drilling in the Stonepark area of Limerick.

Connemara described the quantities of lead and zinc found as “exciting results” that further enhanced the potential of the Stonepark programme, in which Teck Ireland is also involved.

John Teeling, Connemara chairman, said recent developments on the Pallas Green discovery adjacent to Stonepark were also positive.
