Times may be hard but property developers and private jets still go hand in hand. Plane maker Hawker Beechcraft Corporation has looked at the relationship between foreign ownership of commercial property in the city of London and business flights into the UK from that country and found a link.
“Over the course of 2011 Ireland saw the sixth highest volume of business flights into the UK, with flights from Ireland landing on British soil at an average of just under once every three hours. Furthermore, between 2009 and 2011 the number of business flights into the UK from Ireland increased by 14.7 percent,” they claim.
