Six stamps from the current Birds of Ireland everyday series are displaying both the pound and euro denominations.

The dual-priced stamp issue is part of An Post's customer awareness programme in advance of the euro changeover in January. Customers are advised to check their wallets and writing desks for punt-denominated stamps, which should be used up by the end of this year.
