TK Maxx agrees rental terms in Wexford

Trader will pay 5 per cent of turnover in lieu of rent

The fast expanding American department store chain TK Maxx is planning to move into Wexford where it has just agreed rental terms on a store extending to 2,322sq metres (25,000sq ft) on the Quays.

The department store chain will pay 5 per cent of turnover in lieu of rent, and will also avail of a 30-month rent free period.

TK Maxx recently opened stores in the Ilac centre in city centre Dublin, Dundrum Town Centre and Navan Retail Park.

Jason Millar acquired the Wexford store for the multiple trader, while Karl Stewart of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald acted for the landlord.
