€1.8m for Mount Merrion shop

Lisney is seeking €1.8 million for a suburban shop in Mount Merrion, Co Dublin. No 69 Deerpark Road forms part of a parade of shops midway between its junctions with South Avenue and Mount Anville Road.

The ground floor retail unit has a floor area of 179sq m (1,927sq ft) and includes storage, office and kitchen facilities to the rear.

The shop is held under a 999-year lease subject to a nominal annual rent.

€800,000 for warehouse

A well located warehouse and office building at 14-16 St Teresa's Road in Crumlin, Dublin 12, is to be offered for sale at €800,000 through Douglas Newman Good. The building extends to 260sq m (2,798sq ft) and has an electric roller door and fully fitted offices. Electric gates open into the site which has parking for up to eight vehicles. The property is in a mature residential enclave overlooking Stannaway Park.

The agent is also to offer the building for letting at a rent of €45,000 per annum.

€750,000 for Thomas St shop

Global property consultants Knight Frank is guiding €750,000 for a four-storey building on 0.02 acres at 29 Thomas Street, Dublin 8. The property is vacant and comprises a retail shop on the ground floor with the three upper floors previously in both residential and commercial use.

Under the Dublin City Development Plan 2005-2011, the 29 Thomas Street site is zoned Objective Z5 "to consolidate and facilitate the development of the central area and to identify, reinforce and strengthen and protect its civic design character and dignity". The agent says the zoning is a "great opportunity to create a mixed scheme in a key city centre location".
