Britain yesterday outlined planned reforms to boost enterprise and productivity that include making it a criminal offence for company bosses to collude on prices.

The plan to bust "price-fixing in the boardroom" would bring British competition law more in line with that of the United States, which has a stronger record of cartel busting.
