Those who dine for the corporate good may be interested to hear of a food fad which is reported to be a favourite of Mexican politicians and local expense-account executives.

It is a plate of plump, scaly worms fried up into an exotic hors-d'oeuvres. One public relations executive, stuffing the crunchy brown morsels into a soft taco, told the Los Angeles Times: "This is like caviar." And a snip at a mere $11.50 a dish!
