Apple Computers is donating computer equipment as part of an education initiative targeted at primary and secondary schools. The company will provide IT advisers in the 20 education centres around the State with iBook laptop computers and associated software and accessories.

Education centres were established last year by the Department of Education to act as IT consultants for schools.
