AIM secures Dell's £600,000 account

Dell's advertising media account, which is worth in the region of £600,000 (€761,840), has moved to AIM Media Specialists.

It is part of a pan-European alignment for the computer company, as its media planning and buying in other markets is done by Carat, and AIM is Carat's Irish affiliate.

To date, the company's advertising focus here has been mostly product-related and has concentrated predominantly on press with some radio spend. It is anticipated this policy will continue with the new agency. Campaign Advertising, which has had the entire Dell account since 1991, will hold on to the creative and production part of the account.
