This marks the second virtual summit for The Business Show, after a successful 2020 online event. As the world continues to navigate the pandemic, The Business Show is a prime example of how leaders can effectively share skills and knowledge and engage meaningfully with attendees from the business community, who hope to learn innovative and practical strategies towards rebooting the economy.

Ireland's economy has been significantly impacted following the abrupt changes brought on by the sudden national lockdowns imposed by the government in an attempt to control the COVID-19 pandemic. A recent study by Enterprise Ireland has revealed that 60 per cent of Irish businesses have been negatively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

This time last year, businesses had to close their doors, with very little information and hope as to when they'd reopen. During this time, while financial planning was recognised as the main priority, only one in three businesses actually put a financial plan in place. The Business Show aims to put control back in the hands of the business owners, and educate them on how they can overcome these obstacles and better equip themselves on challenges in the future. After so many businesses had to close their doors to the public, this year's event brings people together again, to confront these issues.

Speaking about the event and its emphasis on leadership and resilience, managing director of the Business & Finance Media Group, Tracey Carney says; "We're delighted to be launching our second virtual summit with The Business Show this year. Companies have undergone a year of hardship yet resilience, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this timely event as we get ready to emerge in a post-pandemic world. With industry continuing to face challenges across the board due to Covid-19 and the ongoing impact of Brexit, we have invited a wide range of national and international thought experts who will provide practical advice and tangible strategies to help companies re-shape their business for the future."

Partners for this year's event include leading names in the industry such as Expleo, Ireland's leading technology partner for digital transformation, Electric Ireland, Ireland's leading energy provider, KPMG, multinational professional business providers, Ibec, Ireland's largest lobby and business representation group, Business & Finance, a magazine offering quality editorial and in-depth coverage on all aspects of enterprise, along with many more.

The summit is designed to give the look and feel of a physical space. On the day, attendees can log in with the credentials provided upon registration and be welcomed into the virtual lobby where they can see the full range of options available within the virtual auditorium, the exhibition hall, the networking lounge. Complimentary tickets to this year's event are available online from The Business Show website. Tickets include access to the virtual summit, entry to the virtual exhibition hall and networking lounge and access to on-demand content for up to three months post-event.
