TIGER WOODS has still not indicated to the PGA Tour that he will return to golf for next week’s WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Tucson.

The world number one, not seen in public since crashing his car in the early hours of November 27th, has until 10pm tomorrow to either commit to the event. He has been on an indefinite break after lurid stories about his private life hit the headlines.

Accenture are one of the sponsors who have dropped Woods and it would surprise most people if he chooses their tournament.

More likely, perhaps, is the CA Championship in Miami on March 11th-14th or the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando two weeks later. However there are rumours that he might appear at the unofficial and private Tavistock Cup match on his home course Isleworth on March 22nd-23rd.
