Waterford 4-17 Limerick 3-15:WATERFORD SET up a rematch of last year's Munster final when they eventually overcame Limerick at Walsh Park on Saturday night. Despite leading by 13 points after 24 minutes, Waterford needed extra-time after Limerick mounted a second-half comeback.

Waterford goaled three times in the opening 10 minutes with Stephen Bennett scoring two and Darragh Flynn getting the other. Bennett completed his hat-trick in the 48th minute but, helped by a goal from Mark Carmody and Kevin O’Brien’s second, Limerick went three points ahead. A late point by Cormac Heffernan forced extra time and four Jake Dillon points helped Waterford home.
