FAIRYHOUSE PREVIEW:RUBY WALSH has a lot of work to do to reclaim the champion jockey title in Ireland this season but can make a start on it with a treble at Fairyhouse today.

Injury ruined Walsh’s championship prospects last term and hasn’t helped him in the new 2011-12 campaign either. He is currently on the 31-winner mark in Ireland, just fourth in the table, and a long way behind Davy Russell on 60.

Willie Mullins though looks to have a couple of short-priced favourites for Walsh today as Ceol Rua’s third to Make A Track and Reizovic here last month reads pretty well and Sous Les Cieux can recoup losses when failing to justify a big reputation on a single Irish start so far. Walsh is also on the newcomer Rossvoss in the opening three-year-old hurdle. A maiden winner on the flat at Galway, Rossvoss can overcome a lack of previous experience to beat Leroy Parker and His Excellency.

The Irish National hero Organisedconfusion has just his third start over flights in the conditions hurdle where Staying Article is an interesting runner for the in-form Edward O’Grady team.
