Eugene Cloonan returns at right corner forward in the only change in personnel from the team that defeated Tipperary in the league final. David Tierney, who started the league final at left wing forward, loses out. That position is filled on Sunday by Ollie Canning.

The team to face Derry in Sunday's other quarter-final won't be announced until later today. Manager Pat Fleury has a few more options on his hands with the return of centre back Hubert Rigney. With no injuries to contend with, he is expected to name a full strength team.

Manager Kevin McNaughton has also delayed naming his side for Sunday's historic trip to Croke Park. There are no injury worries, and the selectors decided will name the team today. Dual player Kieran McKeever is expected to be recovered from Sunday's football final to take his place at centre forward.
