Defending champion Steve Stricker saw his three shot lead at The Barclays FedEx Cup play-off evaporate at Ridgewood Country Club today, thanks to a disastrous third round.
Stricker was in full control last night after a 64 left him three ahead of Hunter Mahan but the American carded a 77 today to slip back to a tie for 11th place.
Two birdies and two bogeys left Stricker level par through 11 holes but a triple-bogey on the 12th signalled the beginning of the end and three more dropped shots saw him plummet down the leaderboard.
Kevin Streelman now leads the tournament by one after a 68 but round of the day went to Fijian Vijay Singh whose 66 moved him into joint second with Mike Weir, Paul Casey and Sergio Garcia.
Double Open champion and USPGA winner Padraig Harrington failed to make the cut after last night on three-over-par.
