St Saran's, Ferbane, qualified for the Connacht Schools' Senior Cup semi-final with a well merited win over St Joseph's, Galway, at Ferbane.

Two James Coughlan penalties earned a 6-0 lead at halftime and the decisive score came in the 47th minute when Ronan Guinan blocked an attempted clearance and Joe Butler was on hand to get the touchdown. Coghlan added another penalty to seal the issue.
