Rugby - Magners League team news:As expected, Jonathan Sexton will start for Leinster when Joe Schmidt's side take on the Scarlets at the RDS tomorrow night. Sexton, Leo Cullen and Fergus McFadden have all been excused from the Irish training camp and returned to the province.
Sexton, who lost his Ireland place to Ronan O’Gara against Scotland last Sunday, will be hoping to press his case for inclusion against Wales next weekend. All three players return to the starting line-up while Nathan Hines, who came off the bench for Scotland at Murrayfield, is named among the replacements.
Elsewhere, Having played most of his rugby at scrumhalf since his high profile move last September, Ruan Pienaar will make a rare start at outhalf for Ulster when they meet Aironi.
Pienaar takes over from Ian Humphreys for the visit of the struggling Italian franchise to Ravenhill while Ireland internationals Paddy Wallace and Tom Court come back into the starting line-up. Andrew Trimble will get another run out on the wing while Scotland’s Simon Danielli has to settle for a place on the bench.
In Connacht, Eric Elwood has been able to call upon the services of Sean Cronin after the hooker was released from the Irish training camp at Carton House near Dublin.
Cronin comes into the starting line-up for the match with Benetton Treviso with Adrian Flavin moving to the bench. The only other change to the mtachday squad sees Dave Nolan replace Mike McComish among the replacements.
