The Irish Junior Squash Championships get under way this evening at three venues around Dublin - UCD, Riverview and Sportsco. Galway brothers John and Niall Rooney are the top seeds in the boys' under-19 section with Ulster's Sarah Fairley and Aisling Blake of Sligo the favourites in the girls' under-19 competition.

The tournament, which features under-19, 16, 14 and 12 sections, has attracted entries from all over Europe, including England, Scotland, Spain, Germany and Estonia. The finals take place on Sunday afternoon.
