Dundalk 2 Bray W 2:DUNDALK AND Bray Wanderers played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Oriel Park last night.
The Seagulls overturned a one goal deficit to go 2-1 in front but Mark Quigley’s second goal of the game, and his 11th league strike of the season, ensured Dundalk a fifth draw in six games.
The home side went in front after 14 minutes. Marc Griffin was pushed in the six-yard box by Derek Prendergast. Referee Dave McKeon had no hesitation in pointing to the spot and Mark Quigley sent his namesake, Darren, the wrong way with the kick.
The visitors drew level in stoppage time in the first half. Chris Shields crossed from the right and Danny O’Connor got the slightest of touches to guide the ball past Peter Cherrie. Bray went in front after 54 minutes when Dean Kelly’s cross was headed home by Dean Zambra from close range.
