MARTIN PIPE sponsors the meeting at Taunton today and has declared no less than 15 horses in an attempt to go through the seven race card.

The British champion trainer should land a four timer courtesy of Doctor Green (Martin Pipe Winners Galore Novices' Hurdle), Indian Jockey (Alison Farrant. Pretty Woman Novices' Handicap Chase), Banntown Bill (David Johnson Challenger Handicap Chase) and Passed Pawn (Martin Pipe Am I That Difficult? Handicap Hurdle).

Ladbrokes are expecting strong betting support for Pipe's attempt to win all seven races. "Frankie Dettori's magnificent seven at As cot brought home to us just how popular multiple bets on the top jockeys and, trainers can be, and with Martin Pipe sponsoring tomorrow's card I'm sure many customers will take the tip and back his horses through the card" said spokesman Ian Wassell.

"They are sure to be trying even harder than normal, though it does look to be a very tough task," he added.

Smart, hurdler Teinein makes his chasing debut in the Adventure Novices' Chase at Lingfield today but will not have matters all his own way. Pitched in against the' likes of Garolo, Exterior Profiles, Glitter Isle and Mouse Bird, Tim Forster's gelding will have to reproduce his hurdles form to make a successful fencing bow.

Teinein, was most impressive when winning handicap hurdles at Worcester and Huntingdon in November. On the latter occasion the six year old was held up until brought to challenge two out, and, soon leading, Teinein sauntered clear to win in a canter by three and half lengths from Marius.

With ground conditions likely to be in his favour, Teinein who has the build to make up into a chaser can score his first chase win and show himself to be a novice with a bright future.
