Bray Wanderers v Kilkenny City (Carlisle Grounds, 7.45)

Bray Wanderers v Kilkenny City (Carlisle Grounds, 7.45)

Kilkenny have completed the signing of midfielder Graham O'Hanlon from Finn Harps and he comes straight into the team tonight.

Mike Kerley is sidelined with flu so Kilkenny should be unchanged at the back while Derek McGrath has resumed training following a back complaint. Bray seem certain to be without the influential Colm Tresson who limped off at half-time with a hamstring strain in last week's 3-1 defeat at Bohemains.

Manager Pat Devlin waits on goalkeeper John Walsh (groin).

Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers (Tolka Park, 7.45)

Shelbourne manager Dermot Keely has reacted angrily to comments made by Irish under-21 boss Don Givens who said he didn't consider Shelbourne striker Richie Foran for the squad that plays Portugal tonight because Foran has been sent-off three times in recent weeks.

"This is typical of the way the FAI behave," said Keely. "If Givens has a problem with Richie Foran's disciplinary record he should talk to me. I've got little time for him after the way he's gone on.

"He's excluded Richie Baker because of alleged misconduct (at the Toulon tournament) which I'm happy was not the case. Now this.

"Anyway, he hasn't got to many results, has he, so he obviously knows an awful lot. He's clearly a good judge. I'm Irish, managing here, so I guess I don't know anything!"

Ironically, Foran is suspended for tonight's match after the red card incurred for taking off his shirt when scoring the winner against Kilkenny City last month.

Stephen Geoghegan should make a starting return up front. Captain Pat Scully had the flu during the week but is fit to play.

"We've been itching all week to get this game on," says Rovers manager Damien Richardson. "Shels are the most experienced side in the league and the most difficult to play against. "They're grinding out the results again like they did last year."

Goalkeeper Tony O'Dowd expects to return after a back strain while striker Tony Grant should be fit to play.

Current league form: Shelbourne - LWWWW; Shamrock Rovers: WDDLL.

St Patrick's Athletic v Finn Harps (Richmond Park, 7.45)

St Patrick's Athletic manager Pat Dolan will be hoping that a hamstring strain to Liam Kelly won't break up his in-form striking partnership with Ger McCarthy.

The pair have hit seven goals in the last four games and Dolan will be reluctant to make a change in that area as St Patrick's go for a fourth successive win against bottom of the table Harps.

With Paul Osam, Martin Russell and Packie Lynch out, Dolan is hopeful that midfield pair Robbie Griffin (ankle) and Robbie McGuinness (flu) can both declare themselves fit to play.

Striker Kevin McHugh has returned to Harps after a loan spell at Omagh and is added to their travelling squad.

Current league form: St Patrick's Athletic - DLDLW; Finn Harps - WDLDL.

Leading scorers: St Patrick's Athletic - Byrne, Kelly and Russell (2 each); Finn Harps - Nesovic (4).

Referee: J O'Neill (Waterford).

Betting: 8/15, Draw 9/4, Away 5/1.
