2 Craig Chalmers and Gregor Townsend put fullback Rowen Shepherd into space and he races into the Irish 22 as Brian O'Meara and Keith Wood try to get across and cover.

3 O'Meara tackles Shepherd, seconds before Conor O'Shea collides with both players. Shepherd passes to Tait who has switched the angle of his run and the centre eludes Wood's attempted hand-trip.

4 David Corkery moves swiftly to try and cut off Tait, but in doing so the Irish flanker accidentally knocks Denis Hickie out of the way.

5 Corkery's momentum, despite his tackle, allows Tait to spin around and reach onehanded to ground the ball across the line.
