CAMOGIE Ballyboden St Enda's 3-3 Rathnure1-7:BALLYBODEN ST ENDA'S are Leinster champions for the first time after beating Wexford champions Rathnure yesterday in Rathnure.

They will now face Antrim's O'Donovan Rossa in the All-Ireland semi-final on November 1st.

They trailed 0-0 to 1-6 at the break, Rathnure's goal coming from Sandra Carr. Ballyboden restarted well with a goal from Aoife O'Leary as Rathnure were denied by a strong defence, where Rachel Ruddy and goalkeeper Síle Nic Coitir were superb. Grace Hearne was Rathnure's sole point scorer in the second half.

It was looking good for Rathnure as they led 1-7 to 2-2, but the Lucey sisters, Emer and Ciara, struck. Fíona Ní Chorcoráin found Emer, whose shot dipped in to the net and then Ciara Lucey landed a 45.
