NFL Division Two B/ Louth 0-18 Wicklow 1-12: Louth made it five wins from as many outings in Dundalk yesterday but they were asked some serious questions by Wicklow.

The visitors led 1-1 to 0-0 after 10 minutes, the goal coming from John Paul Dalton who converted the rebound when Leighton Glynn's shot was saved by Stuart Reynolds.

Mark Brennan got Louth off the mark in the 11th minute and four more points followed to put them ahead 0-5 to 1-1 after 21 minutes. Jonathan Daniels levelled with a free but Louth then reeled off five points from Paddy Keenan, Christy Grimes (two), JP Rooney and John Neary to lead by 0-10 to 1-2.

Points from Tommy Gill and Adrian Foley left the scoreboard reading 0-10 to 1-4 at the interval.

By the 52nd minute Wicklow had cut Louth's advantage to a single point, 0-13 to 1-9. However, Eamonn McEneaney's outfit pulled clear with four points. In the 60th minute Mark Stanfield was sent off for a second bookable offence, and Wicklow were back in it when Gill and Ciarán Foley added points to leave a goal separating the teams.

Wicklow were reduced to 14 when James Stafford was booked for a second time on 68 minutes, and in the time that remained the sides swapped points.
