Mount Temple brushed aside Marian College at Williamstown. They crossed the Marian line on seven occasions, with second-row John Laffey helping himself to a hat-trick. The score of the game came at the end of the first half when a sweeping move saw Max McDonald score in the corner. Marian showed great spirit after the break with number eight Vincent Byrne helping himself to a brace of tries.
