Dance Design booked her place in Saturday's Esat-Digifone Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown by pleasing trainer Dermot Weld in a piece of work yesterday.
"She went well and Michael Kinane will ride. I will also run Poised To Rally who Pat Shanahan will ride," Weld said.
Another Irish-trained runner will be John Oxx's Rayouni, runner-up to King Alex in the Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh last month.
"He looks a little out of his depth on the ratings but he has improved and the Champion will give us a line on where we stand," Oxx confirmed yesterday.
Swain is likely to have a prep race at either Goodwood or Newbury before a tilt at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 5th. The King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes winner has been entered for Goodwood's Group Three Westminster Taxi Insurance Select Stakes over a mile and a quarter on Tuesday. But also has the option of tackling the Doubleprint Arc Trial, a mile and three furlong Listed race, at Newbury the following Thursday.
