Criost Ri sweep into last four

A finely-tuned Coláiste Chríost Rí booked their place in the semi-finals of the Munster Colleges SFC with a 1-13 to 0-1 victory over out of touch St Flannan's at Bruff yesterday.

Tralee CBS and Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig played out a thrilling draw 0-14 to 3-5 at Rathmore. Trailing by a point deep into injury time, Ballincollig were awarded a penalty and coach Mark Halpin, knowing his side needed a point to ensure their continued involvement in the competition, instructed Alan Donovan to take the point.

Dingle CBS paid the ultimate price for travelling to Cahirciveen with a depleted side as the holders Colaiste Na Sceilge showed no mercy, winning by 4-7 to 0-5 and advancing with ease.
