Uefa Under-19 Qualifier/Rep of Ireland 3 Andorra 0:Sean McCaffrey's Republic of Ireland under-19 side will progress to the Uefa Championships elite qualifying round with victory over Portugal tomorrow.

After a dreadful start to their first round group with defeat by Belarus on Thursday, a 3-0 win over Andorra on Saturday has opened the door to qualification.

If the Irish can beat the hosts in Povoa de Varzim they will qualify - even if they do not secure one of the top two automatic qualification slots.

Six points will be enough to ensure Ireland are one of the two best third-placed sides that will also qualify for the elite stage.
