Bokking a trend

THE URUGUAYAN players were a little put out after their Group A clash against reigning rugby World Champions South Africa

THE URUGUAYAN players were a little put out after their Group A clash against reigning rugby World Champions South Africa. The South American minnows tried to swap jerseys with their illustrious opponents, but the Boks went straight to the dressing-room after the match for a behind-closed-doors session with coach Nick Mallett.

Eventually the Uruguayans were told the South African team would be more than happy to swap jerseys in their dressing-room.

"If the South Africans want to swap jerseys then they come to us," boomed the Uruguayan team manager. He was then nearly flattened by a stampede of his players heading for the Springboks' dressing-room.
