PBC Cork 3 Ardscoil Rís 8:A BRILLIANT try from second- row Kelvin Brown two minutes from the end helped Ardscoil Rís qualify for th: eir second consecutive Munster Schools Junior Cup final at Musgrave Park yesterday.

Brown burst through the Pres defence from the 10-metre line to give his side the lead for the first time and Ardscoil had to survive almost seven minutes’ injury-time in their own 22 before prevailing.

David O’Sullivan kicked Pres 3-0 in front with a 10th minute penalty that was cancelled out by David O’Mahony 18 minutes later.

Ardscoil dominated the second-half and their pressure was rewarded with Brown’s magnificent individual try.
