Every week we put a question to one of our columnists. This week we ask  Patsy McGarry, Religious Affairs Correspondent, why the Pope’s encyclical on climate change is controversial?

The Pope’s encyclical, Laudato si’ has been praised by many, including Mary Robinson at a recent conference in Maynooth, but criticised by others, such as Jeb Bush, who said, “I don’t get my economic policy from my bishops or my cardinals or my pope”.
