Madam, – Your excellent “Verdict 2011” supplement (February 28th) shows that there were hundreds of spoiled votes in each constituency.
Why? Perhaps some are deliberate? The tallies showed that some of these votes did not show numbers 1, 2, or 3, etc, opposite the candidates’ names, instead displaying a tick in the appropriate place.
Should the public be better prepared for completing the voting paper? – Yours, etc,
