Madam, - The claim by Noel Treacy TD that RTÉ is a left-wing organisation will, I suppose, be believed by those minded to do so ( The Irish Times, November 7th).
What was really troubling in his parliamentary speech was his claim that it took some form of autocue to give the "impression" that a "highly paid celebrated broadcaster" was a "highly intelligent man".
It's a pity politicians don't have access to autocues, if that's all it takes. - Yours, etc,
