Sir, - We have now had a response from the Seven Sisters (February 6th) to John Waters's courageous article on the wider implications of Noreen Byrne's outburst. in the course of a tirade they go so far as to rebuke The Irish Times for daring to publish Mr Waters's views.
On a positive note, perhaps we should now be thankful that the agenda followed by this particular sorority is at last laid bare. - Yours, etc.,
