Sir, – May I make a small correction to the excellent interview by Róisín Ingle with Alix O'Neil ("It's a lovely thing to be just very Northern Irish", Magazine, June 26th). The word "scundered" seems to have been lost in translation.
It does not mean embarrassed it means fed up/disgusted. There is enough misunderstanding on this island; I would just be scundered if this added another.
