Madam, - Were the recent comments about families with small children passing through British airports being just "holiday makers" and not terrorists made by the same Michael O'Leary who insists, for reasons of security, that those same small children carry passports when travelling on UK domestic and UK/Irish flights? The same Michael O'Leary who had no sympathy when my octogenarian mother was refused permission to board her flight as her only photo ID was her pensioner's bus pass.

It would appear Mr O'Leary is only concerned when it costs his company money and not when the parents of children under 16 and pensioners have their journeys curtailed and forfeit their ticket fares for failing to produce a passport or driving licence that only his Ryanair insists they provide.
