Madam, - In Roma Fulton's letter (May 3rd), concerning the proposed incinerator at Ringsend, reference was made to a "director" of consultants firm RPS having been appointed to the board of An Bord Pleanála.
On behalf of An Bord Pleanála I wish to state that, in accordance with our code of conduct, Conall Boland, who is now serving as a full-time member of the board, will have no involvement in the decision concerning the proposed incinerator, nor will he attend meetings at which it is discussed or voted on.
The code of conduct is available to view on our website, as are biographical details of Mr Boland, which lists his previous employment with RPS as a technical director. - Yours, etc,
