Sir, – We now learn regarding Metro North that "the proposed stations would be smaller than originally envisaged" in order to save money ("Coalition considers revised Metro North scheme", September 23rd).
I really hope Dubliners will not have to tolerate crowded, cramped and low-ceilinged metro stations. Let us remember they will be used on a daily basis for decades to come. – Yours, etc,
