Sir, – Richard Allen’s letter (October 2nd) advocates strongly that, in relation to dietary choice, we behave as directed by our digestive systems.
Personally, when regarding a dietary choice that is potentially devastating to both our planet and the sentient creatures inhabiting it, I am rather happier to behave as directed by a more logical organ – my brain. – Yours, etc,
